Transport

JS College campus is located in southern India in Tamil Nadu state close to Kanyakumari which is the southern tip of India. 

The campus is on the National Highway connectingtwo major towns, namely Tirunelveli and Nagercoil. 

The campus is well connected by public transportation. 

The nearest bus stop is called Mundradaippu. Most buses plying on the highway between Tirunelveli and Nagercoilstop in Mundradaippu. From the bus stop, the campus can be reached in 10 minutes by walk, or an auto/share auto may be taken from the bus stop. 

Opposite to our college is a railway station called Sengulamwhere most of the local trains stop. From the station, it will take about 10 minutes to walk to our campus. 

Nearest airport to the campus is Thoothukudi (also called Tuticorin) which is connected to Chennai by two flights a day. The campus can be reached from the airport in less than a 2-hour drive. From Madurai or Trivandrum airport, the campus can be reached in approximately 3 hours. 

Distance between Tirunelveli Junction and the Campus is about 20 km (15-minute drive) 

Distance between Nagercoiland the Campus is about 75 Km (1-hour drive). 

We have several institutional vehicles operating on working days to provide transportation to our campus from different places that are within 30 km from the college. We encourage students to take our college bus to ensure their safe and timely arrival on campus. Bus fees are collected on a yearly basis.
